The Delhi Police on Sunday said that no permission has been sought or granted for the march of political campaign Cockroach Janta Party to Parliament slated for July 20.
The office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Delhi, said that orders prohibiting public gatherings under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita are in force in the New Delhi district.
“Accordingly, protest marches, processions, demonstrations and assemblies of five or more persons are strictly prohibited, except at the designated protest site at Jantar Mantar, with prior permission,” the police said.

Further, no permission has been sought or granted for any proposed march to Parliament on 20 July 2026.

The police warned that anyone violating prohibitory orders would be liable for prosecution under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and other laws.
The march to Parliament slated for Monday is part of a protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged mismanagement of competitive examinations.
